Guntur: Free Upanayanams performed to Brahmin boys

Guntur: Brahmana Seva Samithi leaders performed a mass free upanayanams to Brahmin boys at Santoshimata Temple at Syamala Nagar in Guntur city on Wednesday.

Sri Radhananda Bharati Swamy, Sringeri Virupaksha Sri Peethadheeswara Gambhirananda Bharati Swamy visited the place and blessed the Brahmin boys on the occasion of their upanayanam.

Brahmana Seva Samithi president Karlapalem Bala Krishna, Secretary Tullur Prakash and convener PSR Murthy supervised the arrangements.

Later, they offered free meals to Brahmin boys and their relatives.

Brahmana Seva Samithi leaders PSR Murthy, Budampati Srinivas, Madala Venkata Ramesh were present.
