Guntur: Devotees offer prayers on Karthika Purnima at Suryalanka beach

Guntur: Thousands of devotees took holy bath at Suryalanka Beach near Bapatla and performed puja on the occasion of auspicious Karthika Purnima on Tuesday.

Since early morning devotees thronged the beach and took holy bath. Women lit the lamps and performed pujas to Lord Siva seeking his blessings to fulfill his wishes.The district administration made elaborate arrangements for the safety and convenience of devotees.
