Grama Sachivalyam Employees Will Be Provided With Smartphones: CM YS Jagan
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that the gramaswarajya dreamed by Mahatma Gandhi through the village secretaries is being fulfilled. The most ambitious village secretaries of the Andhra Pradesh government were inaugurated on the eve of the Gandhi Jayanti in the East Godavari district of Karapa on Wednesday. Earlier, the Chief Minister unveiled a pylon set up at the village secretariat premises.
CM YS Jagan addressed the public meeting organized on the occasion. CM said that the Secretariat system is a great effort to target corruption. 10 permanent jobs have been created in each village through village secretaries. CM explained that a secretariat was set up for every two thousand people. CM announced that smartphones will be provided to all Secretariat employees. In addition, one volunteer was assigned to every 50 homes.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister said, "There is nowhere in the country where the government has created 4 lakh jobs. 1,34,978 permanent employees were recruited. More than 500 government services will be available in villages. Full services will be available in village secretaries by January 1, 2020. Through this we will provide farmers with quality fertilizer and seeds. Our goal is to correct the mistakes made by the previous government. Our mission is to carry out government schemes and governance at every corner. CM added.
