Government won't tolerate dereliction of duty: Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani

Vizianagaram: Village Secretariats started functioning from Wednesday. Ministers P Pushpa Srivani and Botcha Satyanarayana inaugurated the Secretariats in two villages in this district on Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani inagurated the Village Secretariat at Biyyalavalasa village under Kurupam mandal. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the government would not tolerate dereliction of duty. No common man should go home with negative opinion after knocking on the doors of the Secretariats. The staff should work with commitment and provide hassle-free services to public.

The government unveiled the Village Secretariat system to provide services to people within 72 hours of receiving application from people. Even public can lodge a complaint against the staff if they were found lacking. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would usher in a new era.

Joint collector M Venkataramana Reddy and others were present.

In another programme, Minister for Municipal Administration Botcha Satyanarayana inaugurated Secretariat in Cheepurupalli. He said the government is working to strengthen Grama Swaraj.
