Food served to Ayyappa devotees in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: Food was provided to the Ayyappa Swamy devotees at Anjaneya Swamy Temple by the Youth Welfare Organisation and Minority Rights Parirakshana Samiti members led by their state president Sharuk Shubli on Sunday.
Shubli said that as a symbol of religious harmony, they have been providing food to Ayyappa devotees for the last seven years. He said that on the much awaited decision on the Ram-Mandir and Babri Masjid issue, they would welcome any decision given by the nation's top court.
He said that instead of feeling that one religion has won and the other has lost, we should feel that the verdict will be nation's victory. He said that in the days to come their organisation will continue to work to ensure that every Indian citizen is able to embrace the doctrine that unity in diversity is the cornerstone for country's progress.
One-Town Circle Inspector Kasivishwanath also participated in the programme and appreciated the Youth Welfare Organisation for doing such a programme which reflects secularism. Organisation honorary president Mahender Singh, Zakir, Jahuru, Rafi, Rashid, Mastan and others were present.
