Ensure corruption-free governance: Deputy CM Amzath Basha

Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has called upon the newly appointed employees in Village Secretariats to ensure corruption-free governance for the benefit of people approaching them on various needs.

Inaugurating the ward secretariat at 47th division here on Wednesday, he said the state government has introduced Grams Swarajya, an innovative concept and first of its kind in the country, to take government scheme benefits to the doorsteps of people.

He said the employees should feel more responsible while dealing with the issues and provide justice to all beneficiaries.

District Collector Ch Harikiran urged the staff to resolve problems within 72 hours of receiving representation from people. RDO Ramachandra Reddy and Municipal Commissioner Lavanna garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at One Town police station and paid rich tributes on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary.

YSR Congress MLAs Dr Sudheer Reddy (Jammalamadugu), G Srikanth Reddy (Rayachoti), Y S Avinash Reddy (Kadapa MP) S Raghu Rami Reddy (Mydukuru MLA) have inaugurated village and ward secretariats at their respective constituencies on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, government chief whip G Srikantha Reddy warned of stringent action against employees who found guilty while dealing with public issues.
