Eluru: Collect details of passengers coming from abroad asked West Godavari Collector R Muthyala Raju

Eluru: West Godavari Collector R Muthyala Raju on Monday asked the district officials to collect details of the passengers coming from abroad and monitor their health condition regularly.

He conducted a review meeting with the officials and asked the latter to constitute teams with the Panchayat secretaries, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, ANMs and collect the details of the people coming from abroad. He instructed the medical and health department officials to check out the isolation wards and take measures to ensure facilities to treat the patients admitted to the isolated wards in the government hospital.

He asked the officials to submit the details of the 50 beds hospitals, 100 beds hospitals, RMPs, PMPs and other information. Mutyala Raju instructed the officials to appoint the staff to work round the clock at the control room and strictly asked them to ensure that the concerned staff should be on duty at the control room. He further instructed the officials to issue show cause notice if they notice the staff are neglecting the duty.

He suggested the officials to shift the control room set up for Corona cases from DM&HO office to the collectorate immediately. Joint Collector K Venkata Ramana Reddy, Joint Collector-2 N Tej Bharat, DM & HO Subramanyeshwari, and officials from Medical and Health Department participating in the review meeting.
