Educate children for good future: Nellore JC Dr V Vinod Kumar advises Muslims

Nellore: Joint Collector Dr V Vinod Kumar advised the Muslims that they should give priority for education of their children as the government is providing opportunities for them. Now, the governments are focusing on minority welfare and the people of the communities have to utilise the opportunities, he said. He addressed at a meeting in the new ZP Hall on Monday in connection with the birth anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. The day is also observed as Minority Welfare Day and National Education Day.

He said Abul Kalam Azad was made the first education minister of the country.

Vinod Kumar also said every Muslim family has to educate their kids besides taking care of their health. Minority welfare department is providing financial assistance to them for pursuing higher education in abroad. The government is also providing Shadi Khana, Madarsa and other facilities for the people.

He handed over appreciations and mementos to the students who won prizes in various competitions. SSA Project Director DR Brahmananda Reddy, Minority Welfare Officer Ismail, ED Narayana, and others were present.
