Dy CM launches YSR Kanti Velugu in Kakinada

Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu launched the YSR Kanti Velugu at APSP ZP High School on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Subhash Chandra Bose said Dr YSR was the brainchild behind initiating the Arogya Sree Scheme for providing better healthcare to poor and fee reimbursement to students for pursuing higher education.

Agriculture Minister Kannababu said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was aimed to provide better eye sight to needy under the YSR Kanti Velugu program. District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that nearly 7.50 lakh children in 6,000 private and government schools will be screened for eye test in the district from October 10 to 16.
