Dry ganja worth 50 lakh seized in Bhogapuram

Bhogapuram (Vizianagaram): The Bhogapuram police seized huge quantity of ganja being transported from Vizag agency to Odisha on Saturday.

According to Bhogapuram Circle Inspector B Sridhar and Sub-inspector K Mahesh, acting on a tip-off that ganja being transported illegally from agency area to Odisha, the police conducted vehicle checking and caught a lorry at Langalavalasa and seized 5 quintals of finished product being transported to Odisha.

According to police, the dry ganja was packed into small sachets and transported in a lorry. The value of product is estimated as Rs 50 lakh. The police arrested two persons in this connection.
