DDS Foundation distributes hearing aids in Ongole

Hearing aids being distributed to the patents in Ongole on Sunday

Ongole: The Deen Dayal Sravana Foundation distributed hearing aids to the hearing impaired in a program organized at Andhra Kesari Vidya Kendram Degree College in Ongole on Sunday.

The foundation chairman Regula Ramanjaneyulu presided over the program as the managing director of Krishna Sai Granites Sidda Venkateswara Rao, former ZP chairman of Prakasam district Edara Haribabu, Ongole assembly convener of BJP Bodduluri Anjaneyulu, Chirala Bar Association president Bandarupalli Hemanth Kumar, Dr. Bhaskara Rao from Aluri Eye Hospital, BJP state leader Thoganti Srinivas Chowdary, Mourya Hotel MD Battina Mahesh Babu and others participated as the chief guests.

The organizers distributed the hearing aids for 183 patients and announced that they will continue to provide as many hearing aids to make the Prakasam district free from hearing loss patients soon and the state by 2024. They said that the Deen Dayal Sravana Foundation itself has put a target to help one lakh people and others may join in the due course to reach their target all over the state.
