CRPF Jawans attack Ayyappa devotees in Sabari Express train at Tirupati

In a most annoying incident, the army Jawans attacked the Ayyappa devotees in Sabari Express train while on its way from Sabari to Secunderabad on Saturday. The jawans who are in a drunken state attacked the devotees by behaving insolently. The devotees lodged a complaint with the Tirupati Railway Police.

The Railway Protection Force plunged into the scene and detained the Jawans who were involved in the attack. The accused Jawans belongs to Srikakulam district.

Speaking to media, the Ayyappa devotees expressed their outrage against the incident and demanded the railway officials to take measures to safeguard the passengers from unwanted issues as this is the time where the public travel in view of Sankranti and Sabari darshans.
