City MLA assures sanitary staff

Kakinada: City MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy assured the sanitary tricycle workers that he would use his good offices for revision of their wages in Kakinada Municipal Corporation. The MLA gave this assurance in this regard when the sanitary workers met him at his camp office on Thursday along with CPI East Godavari unit secretary T Madhu to explain to him about their difficulties.

The MLA said that the issue would be discussed at the Municipal Council meeting on June 29 and enhance it as Rs 12,000 per month. The MLA assured that the State government under the dynamic stewardship of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, would take cares of the welfare of sanitary workers in the State. The YSRCP government was committed to the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden, he added.
