Chaitanya Radham creates voter awareness

Vijayawada: Awareness was created to the people on casting their votes through electronic devices, said Nuzvid returning officer Swapnil Dinakar. As part of the SVEEP programme at Nuzvid constituency on Sunday, he participated in awareness programme on casting vote through Chaitanya Radham with a slogan, 'Casting vote is a right of the people in democracy'.

He along with observer Ansari monitored how Chaitanya Radham would create awareness to the people on voting. He said that the vehicle is equipped with a LED screen and the ballot unit, VVPAT and control unit which clearly explain how to vote.

He said there would be two people operating the system with 21 computers equipped in the vehicle. He said the vehicle has already covered many places in the district and sensitised the voters.
