Buggana promises development of Kondaveedu Fort

Guntur: Minister for Finance Buggana Rajendranath assured that the state government will develop historical Kondaveedu Fort as a tourist place to attract more tourists and provide necessary infrastructure.

He inaugurated Kondaveedu Museum constructed at a cost of Rs10 crore at House Ganesh Village in Guntur district on Saturday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that if Kondaveedu Fort is developed, it will attract the foreign tourists also.

He promised that he will try to allot necessary funds and added that he will conduct a high-level meeting on October 18. MLA Vidadala Rajani urged to revive the works at Kondaveedu fort.

Later, they visited three tanks on the hillock of the fort, Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple and fort entry gate. MLA Gopireddy Srinivasara Reddy, Kondaveedu Fort Development Committee convener Kalli Siva Reddy, former MLC TGV Krishna Reddy were among those participated.
