APSSDC secures ISO-9001 certification

Tadepalli: Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation has secured ISO 9001-2015 certification for maintaining international standards, said APSSDC chairman Challa Madhusudan Reddy.

Expressing happiness over the ISO certification, Madhusudan Reddy said that the APSSDC has been in discussion with various organisations and institutions for undertaking skill development programmes and this certification would help a lot at this juncture.

He received the certificate at APSSDC office here on Wednesday along with Special Chief Secretary G Anantaramu and CEO and managing director Dr Arja Srikanth from the UK-based Accreditation Services for Certifying Bodies (ASCB).

Later, addressing the gathering, Anantaramu said that the APSSDC achieved another milestone in its endeavour for excellence. Now the APSSDC is burdened with more responsibility to keep up the standards, he said.
