AP Govt Issues order On Cancellation Of Bauxite Excavation

The AP government has decided to cancel the bauxite excavations. In this regard, the government has issued a GO on termination of bauxite grant to Visakha Manyam. It is known fact that Bauxite Excavations have been carried out for the past 30 years in Araku Mandal, Anantagiri, Gallikonda, Chinthamagundi and Raktha Konda of Chintapalli Mandal in Vishakha district.

The permissions were approved by AP MDC for Bauxite excavations in the past. Considering public demand against Bauxite mining, the government has decided to terminate the excavations and released fresh orders.
