Andhra Pradesh cabinet has reportedly given the green signal for the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff in various nursing colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The Cabinet meeting was chaired by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and discussed the recruitment of jobs in nursing colleges. Nursing colleges were established during the tenure of Chandrababu before 2014 in Machilipatnam, Guntur, Srikakulam, Eluru, Ongole and Tirupati.

However, Nani alleged that the TDP government did not care about the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff. The government headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy has discussed this and decided to hire the teaching and non-teaching staff in nursing colleges. The Cabinet has approved 282 teaching and non-teaching vacancies in the Nursing Colleges of Machilipatnam, Guntur and Srikakulam.

Health Minister Nani said that the government had given permission for 144 teaching and non-teaching staff to be recruited in nursing colleges in Eluru, Ongole and Tirupati. A total of 426 posts will be recruited.
