Andhra Pradesh: TDP MLC BTech Ravi arrested in Chennai airport

TDP MLC BTech Ravi was arrested by the police on Sunday. He was detained at the Chennai airport in a warrant that was pending against him, who is the prime accused in the 2018 riots at Pulivendula Poola Angadi. BTech Ravi is on the run to escape arrest in the stoning and attempted murder case. SI Chiranjeevi was injured in a previous stone attack. Cases have been registered against BTech Ravi and 63 others under the attempted murder charge.

SP Anubrajan revealed the details to the media. BTech Ravi was arrested in connection with the riots in 2018. The SP explained that several people had been granted bail in the previous riots case and that the accused BTech Ravi had been arrested. The SP clarified that there was no connection between the murder case and the arrest.
