Andhra Pradesh: 48 people stuck in Sudan repatriated safely to the state 

The Andhra Pradesh state government is bringing the Telugu people trapped in Sudan safely to the state. APNRTS CEO Venkat Medapati said that 48 people have reached here from Sudan so far. Due to the internal war in Sudan, the government has made arrangements to bring 58 people from the state to their native places. But so far the government has brought 37 people safely to the state with 33 people reaching Bengaluru and four others reached Mumbai and Delhi.

As many as 34 of them have reached their native places, while the remaining three are in quarantine due to lack yellow fever vaccination card. Meanwhile, 11 more people have reached the state on their own, with the help of private companies they are working with, independent of the government. The officials said that six more people are expected to reach Delhi after midnight on Saturday and some others will reach Bangalore airport on Sunday.

APNRTS officials are constantly negotiating with the embassy to bring the rest safely. In accordance with the orders government, the officials have made arrangements to bring the migrants safely to the state. For this, a WhatsApp group has been formed with 58 expatriates and they are providing information from time to time. The helpline number 0863 234 0678 and WhatsApp number 85000 27678 have been made available for information.
