Amaravati: Ayyanna's brother Sanyasi Patrudu joins YSRCP
Amaravati: Chintakayala Sanyasi Patrudu, brother of former Minister and senior TDP leader Ayyannapatrudu joined the YSRCP in the presence of party president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the YSRCP Central office at Tadepalli in Guntur district on Monday. Sanyasi Patrudu belongs to Narsipatnam constituency of Visakhapatnam district and served as the Municipal Chairman of Narsipatnam. Speaking on the occasion, Sanyasi Patrudu said he would work hard to strengthen the party in the district.
He said he joined the party impressed by the welfare schemes being implemented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sanyasi Patrudu said that the YSR Congress party was giving 50 % reservation to SC, ST, BC and minorities in nominated posts.
Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijaya Sai Reddy said that the Chief Minister was doing justice to the people with the implementation of various welfare schemes as part of Navaratnalu programme and Jagan Mohan Reddy was leading the State in the path of progress. Speaking about Pawan Kalyan's long march, he described it as a wrong march. He said while everybody thought Pawan Kalyan would march, he made his followers march and travelled on the top of a car.
Vijaya Sai Reddy described Pawan as the adopted son of TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu. Pawan has been acting under Naidu's direction and gave away life-time call-sheets to Naidu.
