8 suspects arrested in connection attack on Kodela

Guntur : Police arrested eight suspects on Saturday in connection with the attack on Assembly Speaker Dr.KodelaSiva Prasada Rao at Inumetla Polling Booth under Rajaplem mandal of Sattenapalli Assembly constituency on Thursday.

Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao came to poling booth to see the polling. The YSRCP activists allegedly attacked the latter, and manhandled him.Then torn off his shirt and abused him in the police station. Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, expressed ire on the police officials and demanded repolling. Based on the report, the Rajapelm police registered the case and identified the suspects and arrested eight suspects.
