7-yr-old boy dies after venturing into sea

Visakhapatnam: A seven-year-old boy died after venturing into the sea in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

P Santosh came to Visakhapatnam city from Duvvada with his two sons for a morning walk. Among the two sons, one of them P Surya ventured into the sea. However, following a tidal wave, Surya drowned.

Upon reaching the spot, III Town police station home guard D Paradesi swung into action and rescued the boy from the sea. He was shifted to King George Hospital for treatment.

However, Surya died while undergoing treatment. A case was registered and investigation is in progress.
