200 scouts and guides take part in rally in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Waltair District Association of Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) of ECoR organised the second district scouts and guides camp and rally on Monday. Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair, Chetan Kumar Shrivastava was the chief guest.

Around 200 scouts and guides were privileged to take part in it. The camp comprised various competitions like knot tying, physical display, cooking, gadget making, best out of waste, room decoration and march-past.

"The scout is an organisation that constantly gives us new goals to achieve and that's what life is all about. It promotes discipline and confidence. I feel very happy to be part of this rally," DRM said on the occasion. Akshay Saxena, ADRM, KVV Narasimha Rao, District Commissioner (Scouts), Waltair District and Sr Divisional Engineer P Priyanka, District Commissioner (Guides), Waltair District and Divisional Finance Manager and Branch officers and parents and staff witnessed the inaugural ceremony.
